ENOUGH already!

So, this is my third blog. It's about "A good man is hard to find", by Flanney O'Conner. My take on this story is that it was kind of suspenseful with a little twist. The grandmother made me real frustrated, what with all her nagging. It's like she just couldn't enjoy the life she was living. Maybe she just couldn't face the fact that she was older and wasn't able to just take drives to Tennessee anymore. The family goes on this road trip vacation and the grandmother can't stand anyone to be happy but herself. How she had kids and lived like that, I DON'T KNOW. But instead of going to the place they intended, they just had to give grandma her way. Recently, where the Grandma wanted to go, a "misfit" escaped form jail. So, the misfit ended up killing them on the side of the road. The grandma pleaded for her life but the "misfit" shot her just like her family. I honestly don't think that the "misfit" felt bad because he was, deep down, a cold-hearted killer just looking for the adrenaline rush.

Discussing this story in class was pretty interesting too. Pretty much everyone was annoyed with the grandmother. Also, pretty much everyone believed that it was completely the grandmothers fault.
